Arp for Mayor
Jason Arp is in his 8th year serving as the City Councilman for Fort Wayne’s 4th District, which includes Aboite, Time Corners and Waynedale. While this experience has in many ways prepared him for the mayor’s office, his focus has not strayed from the principles that form the basis of this campaign.
As your representative on city council, I advocate for small, limited government and protecting the individual’s rights to life, liberty and property. I believe the surest path to prosperity is simply getting the government out of the way. Allowing businesses, families and individuals to make the decisions regarding their investments, careers and quality of life provides for a diversity of ideas that a dynamic economy and thriving community need.
Singular focus on the proper role of government, protecting the property, liberty and lives of the public, means providing for police, fire, and the infrastructure for a safe and sanitary community.
Opposing tax increases and frivolous spending has earned me some powerful and well connected enemies. That comes with the territory. It’s a badge of honor. My goal is to be the TAXPAYER’S BEST FRIEND.
No one can do it alone. I’m thankful for the blessings of family and friends that provide the support and encouragement that make this possible.
